Dangerous Drug Reporting Begins May 1, 2006
Beginning May 1, 2006, the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy begins accepting reports which contain dispensing information for all controlled substances, carisoprodol products, and tramadol products that are distributed by your pharmacy. The Board of Pharmacy has contracted with Atlantic Associates, Inc., to collect your pharmacies' reports of these prescriptions. Data must be transmitted twice monthly as a batch file and must be received at Atlantic Associates, Inc. no later than the 5th and 20th of each month. The first file must include data from January 1, 2006 - April 30, 2006 and must be submitted by May 5.Additional files must be reported as follows: Prescriptions dispensed between May 1 and May 15 will be reported between May 15 and 20. Prescriptions dispensed between May 16 and May 31 will be reported between June 1 and 5, and so on.
