We invite pharmacists, residents, fellows, and students to submit their research and/or practice innovations. Effort will be made to honor preferences for research and innovative practice submissions. However, the selection committee reserves the right to make the final determination of category for presentation. All presenters must be registered for the Annual Conference.
Research Submissions
Investigators working on research projects pertaining to pharmacy practice, pharmacy-focused scientific research, economic/social/administrative sciences, and pharmacy education will be showcased during the Ohio Research Forum and Poster session. Submissions for completed research or research in progress (if results are anticipated to be ready for presentation at the time of the meeting) will be considered. There will be up to six research projects chosen for the CPE podium presentation. Remaining abstracts accepted will be presented as part of the Poster Session.
Innovative Practice Submissions
Innovative pharmacy practice models and services in Ohio will be showcased in the Innovative Practice Forum and Poster Session. Practitioners from a variety of practice sites will present exciting practice examples and share how they have successfully implemented services and overcome barriers to offer these patient-centered models of care and services. Original methods of development and process, including optimizing available resources, will be presented to provide participants with ideas to enhance their own practices. There will be up to four innovative practices chosen for the Innovative Practice Forum CPE session. Remaining abstracts accepted will be presented as part of the Poster Session.
Guidance on abstract writing may be found at: https://www.accp.com/meetings/abstractguide.aspx. Notification of acceptance and presentation format/time will be sent via email to the primary author 6 weeks prior to the presentation. Questions? Contact Briana Wukovic at BWukovich@ohiopharmacists.org.
