Tim Ulbrich, R.Ph., PharmD
The Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) announced that Tim Ulbrich, R.Ph., PharmD, of Columbus, was honored as a distinguished UNDER 40 award recipient for professional achievements and vision in the practice of pharmacy at its 141st Annual Conference held April 12-14, 2019 in Columbus. This award recognizes the professional achievements of young pharmacists, and advances them in the ranks of top-notch professionals from a variety of careers who have earned UNDER 40 recognition.
Ulbrich has gained national recognition as Co-Founder and CEO of Your Financial Pharmacist. He is also the co-author of Seven Figure Pharmacist: How to Maximize Your Income, Eliminate Debt and Create Wealth. He has traveled the country sharing his financial expertise with pharmacists and pharmacy students alike, empowering them with the knowledge necessary to achieve financial freedom.
Ulbrich earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Ohio Northern University, followed by a community pharmacy residency at The Ohio State University. He is a Clinical Professor of Pharmacy and Director of the Master’s in Health-System Pharmacy Administration program at The Ohio State University. Ulbrich is a founding member of OPA’s New Practitioners Experience group for students transitioning to their careers. He served on the Board of Trustees as a District 11 Representative for six years and is currently the Treasurer of OPA.
Tim’s response when asked Why do you belong to OPA? The most important benefit I receive from OPA has been the networking with practice innovators, educators and thought leaders from across the state. This network has challenged me, motivated me and inspired me on my own professional journey in the pursuit in educating the next generation of pharmacists. This network was made possible through the various involvement opportunities I have had on the board of trustees and executive committee within OPA.
