The 2019 Southern Ohio Synod Assembly registration is now open! The 2019 Southern Ohio Synod Assembly takes place on June 7-8 at the HPER Center, 250 Bill Edwards Drive, Wittenberg University, in Springfield, Ohio. Our theme for assembly is Being Church Together: On the way. Our focus scripture is Luke 24:13-24. We are delighted to welcome our ELCA representative, The Rev. Elizabeth Eaton, Presiding Bishop.

New 'Coaching' page for rostered ministers launched for those ready to take the next step All rostered ministers in the Southern Ohio Synod are invited to yoke themselves with one of our trained coaches for the purpose of growth, support, encouragement and motivation to take the next step in leadership.

Synod Youth Conference @ Witt during Assembly! All SOS youth entering 7th grade through finishing 12th are invited to attend 'Together 2 Gather' held on Wittenberg's campus from 6:30pm on June 7 to 7:00pm on June 8.

Please join us for the Seeing Race Through Faith training at a location near you! Attendees will engage in dialogue, ask questions, and help one another improve our understanding on race so that we can be better equipped for mission in God's world. Next event is this Saturday, March 16!

Apply Now to the Ecumenical Center for Clergy Spiritual Renewal! Early and mid-career clergy are invited to apply to the new, Ecumenical Center for Clergy Spiritual Renewal at Holy Wisdom Monastery, a Benedictine monastery near Madison, Wisconsin. Costs are covered by a grant from the Lilly Endowment.
