Dr. Barillaro graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 2024. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Connecticut. He is a current resident at the Manchester, New Hampshire Veteran Affairs Medical Center. His career interests include disease, geriatrics, low vision, and clinical teaching. In his off time he enjoys tabletop and video games, visiting new beaches, and roller skating. |

Dr. Chen graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in 2024. Before that, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut. She is currently a resident in Primary Care/Geriatrics at VA Puget Sound at the American Lake VA. After graduating from residency, she hopes to stay in the Seattle area. In her free time, she enjoys picking up new art projects, reading, and hiking in the Pacific Northwest! |

Dr. Hume earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science from DePauw University in 2013 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2017. LCDR Hume’s first duty station was Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He served as the Department Head for optometry from August 2018 to May 2021. From June 2021 to May 2024, LCDR Hume was stationed at U.S. Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Sigonella where he had the privilege to provide care underway to the sailors of the USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CNV-75) and the USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH (CVN-77). In 2024 LCDR Hume was competitively selected for Duty Under Instruction and is completing a residency in ocular disease at Indiana University School of Optometry. |

Dr. Hutchinson is an Active-duty Army Optometrist. He is a graduate of the Northeastern State University Oklahoma School of Optometry. He obtained a BS in Physics from the University of Arkansas and he previously served as an infantry and signal officer on active duty in the US Army. Dr. Hutchinson is the currently completing a residency in Ocular Disease with an Emphasis in Cornea and Contact Lens at the Womack Army Medical Center through the Northeastern State University O klahoma School of Optometry. |

Dr. Kulkarni earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in May 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Music from Texas A&M University. Dr. Kulkarni is currently completing a residency in Ocular Disease with an emphasis on Primary Care at the Gallup Indian Medical Center, a facility within the Indian Health Service (IHS) serving the Navajo Nation. Originally from the Bay Area and raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Kulkarni enjoys cooking, baking, spending time outdoors, and reading in her free time. She aspires to practice in a medically underserved area, where she can provide comprehensive eye care and utilize the full scope of her training. |

Dr. Nguyen graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Optometry in 2024. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry at the University of Washington-Seattle in 2020. She is the current resident in Primary Care/Geriatrics with an emphasis on Ocular Disease at the Puget Sound VA Healthcare System, American Lake VA Medical Center branch. Born and raised in Seattle, she is a true Pacific Northwest (PNW) native with a deep love for the outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping throughout the PNW. You can often find her playing doing weekly movie/board game nights with her friends. |

Dr. Park is an Active-Duty Army Optometrist currently at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. He obtained a BS in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and OD degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Prior to commissioning to the U.S. Army, he was a civilian optometrist serving in the San Antonio Area. After graduating from residency, he will be stationed at Keller Army Community Hospital in West Point, NY. |

Dr. Torres is currently completing an Ocular Disease residency at the Texas Valley Coastal Bend Veteran Affairs Eye Clinic. He graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word – Rosenberg School of optometry. He also obtained a BS in Biology and Health from the University of Houston. His hobbies include listening to music, playing saxophone, and cooking. |
