AFOS Academy 2024
November 4-5, 2024
We are headed to Indianapolis, IN for our next meeting. We will host a 2-day AFOS meeting just prior to the American Academy of Optometry meeting.
Early Bird Registration is open for the 2024 AFOS AAO meeting. We have secured a special package that allows you to register for both the AFOS meeting and the American Academy of Optometry meeting (AAO) at one bundled rate. To register go to the Academy website and choose the AFOS/AAO Bundle.
AFOS Meeting will begin on Monday, November 4 and run through the day on Tuesday, November 5 followed by the AAO Meeting November 6-9, 2024. | |
The 2024 AFOS Meeting will be held at the Omni Serverin on Nov 4-5. The AAO Meeting will be at the Indiana Convention Center. | |

Meeting Dress Requirements
* Air Force: Service Dress for both meetings. Civilian clothes are authorized on travel days.
- Air Force members traveling in a Permissive Temporary Duty (PTDY) status are not required to wear their uniform.
* Army: ASU or AGSU for both meetings. Civilian attire is appropriate for day of arrival and departure for Army members.
- Class A (with jacket)
- Army members traveling in a Permissive Temporary Duty (PTDY) or Leave status are not required to wear the uniform.
* Navy: Khaki’s or Service Dress Blues for both meetings (sweater or Eisenhower jacket is authorized with Blues unless presenting). Civilian clothes are authorized on travel days.
* PHS/IHS: Service dress blues for both meetings. Business casual approved for travel days.
- USPHS members traveling in a Permissive Temporary Duty (PTDY) status are not required to wear their uniform.
* VA: Business professional
* Civil Service & GS: Business professional
