ICAI Awards

Each year, the International Center for Academic Integrity sends out a call to its membership to nominate institutions and individuals for our different awards. Recipients of ICAI's awards are traditionally recognized at the annual conference. Each award is only given in years where the Awards Committee determines that a nominee fully meets the criteria for the award. The Award Committee is apprised of ICAI Members, mainly current members of the Board of Directors, Emeritus Board Members, or active volunteers from ICAI Committees.

ICAI looks for nominations for the following awards:

  • Campus of Integrity Award: Recognizes one campus or institution for its outstanding ability to create a culture of integrity during the previous academic year.
  • Student of Merit Award: Given to a current student (either pre-college, undergraduate, or graduate student) who has demonstrated passion and motivation towards creating a culture of academic integrity.
  • Exemplar of Integrity Award: Recognizes one individual for demonstrating courage and perseverance in championing the ideals of academic integrity in the face of opposition and adversity.
