CECH Info & Scientific Objectives

 

CECH SCANNING

In accordance with the requirements of the Council on Podiatric Medicine, The Foundation is required to monitor session attendance for verification of CECH. Attendance and earned CECH will be recorded electronically by scanning the barcode on the back of your badge at the times/locations listed below:

Friday, January 20

CPME Approval: 

In accordance with the requirements of the Council on Podiatric Medicine, the Foundation is required to monitor educational session attendance for verification of CECH. 

The Foundation for Podiatric Medicine is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. The Foundation for Podiatric Medicine has approved this activity for a minimum of 26 continuing education contact hours (CECH)*. Attendees can receive up to additional 4.0 CECH by attending pre-conference seminars and the Saturday workshop.

*This number is based on attendance at all general lectures, pre-conference seminars and the workshop.

Scientific Objectives: 

The scientific sessions of the Foundation for Podiatric Medicine's New York Podiatric Clinical Conference are designed with the educational goal of presenting balanced academic discussions for the primary care podiatric physician, and also to initiate education in the areas of diagnosis and management of ankle pathology. Providing cutting-edge educational programs in a variety of learning formats, the Conference offers a forum for dialogue about the vital educational and clinical information that is crucial to all podiatrists, ensuring professional development that enhances quality patient care and advances the profession.
