STAFF PHARMACIST POSITION AVAILABLE LONG TERM CARE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY HOURS AND NO WEEKENDS AND CLOSED ALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS Crosby’s Drugs, Inc. is an independent pharmacy located in the heart of Columbus, Ohio and has been in business over 80 years. Crosby’s is a full- service retail pharmacy, long term care pharmacy, orthopedic/diabetic shoe division, compounding division, fitting division and a durable medical equipment division. The STAFF PHARMACIST position for CDI which is fully owned and operated by Crosby’s Drugs, Inc, is looking for a full-time staff pharmacist. This division works closely with developmentally disabled clients in group home settings and intermediate care facilities and also drug and rehabilitation facilities. We are willing to train and does not have to have long term care facility background. The following items are beneficial if you have experience, however, it is not necessary and once again, willing to train: -Proficient at verifying prescriptions accurately -Great communication with nurses, caregivers, physicians and other health professionals -Willingness to work and communicate with all departments in the Crosby’s company to help coordinate supplies, durable medical equipment, deliveries and more -Technician education-willingness to coach, manage and teach technicians -Familiarity with MAR’s (medication administration records) and PO’s (physician orders) is a plus -MTM (medication therapy management) and navigating complex patient profiles -A “self-starter” and problem solver.
