Responsibilities:

Manages the CORSA property and liability program’s claims unit
Manages CCAO Workers' Comp Group Rating, Group Retro, and Excess Workers' Comp programs
Works with defense counsel and claims staff to protect the interests of CORSA member counties
Provides integration and coordination of claims with loss control, underwriting and marketing
Monitors and evaluates case reserves and authorizes settlements
Provides consulting services to CORSA member counties

Experience and Personal:

Born in Heidelberg, Germany and grew up in Cuyahoga County
BA in Political Science from Denison University
JD from American University, Washington College of Law
10 years experience working in county government in the areas of insurance, risk management, human resources, and employee benefits
6 years experience in the general practice of law
