Description: The bill makes a number of changes to county law, including:
- Exempting improvement projects for minor repairs from the requirement to obtain specifications and estimates from an architect or engineer.
- Increases the threshold at which the county prosecutor is required to approve improvement contracts from $1,000 to $20,000.
- Simplifies the process for donating unneeded property.
- Allows a county prosecutor to provide legal services to a transportation improvement district.
- Specifies that a county coroner performing an autopsy at the request of another county coroner does not constitute private practice of medicine.
