ABOUT

The New York State Podiatric Medical Association (NYSPMA) is a tax-exempt not-for-profit, voluntary professional association uniting three of every four doctors of podiatric medicine in New York State. NYSPMA consists of 13 geographically based subgroups called divisions and is the largest statewide component of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and its affiliated national network of certifying boards and professional colleges. NYSPMA is made up of dedicated volunteer podiatrists who serve as officers, board members, and committee members. Established in 1895, we were the first organization of its kind in America. We are a strong voice in the state legislature on insurance affairs, medical and hospital practice, managed care, scientific affairs, and public health.
