New Campaign Alert: Help TourismOhio Drive Overnight Stays This Holiday Season

TourismOhio invites you—and especially lodging partners—to join TourismOhio's new promotion: "Be the Host with the Most (Rooms)." This campaign celebrates Ohio’s signature warmth and generosity while actively driving overnight stays from Nov. 13, 2025, through Feb. 17, 2026.

The concept is simple and impactful: The campaign encourages Ohio residents to turn nearby hotels and accommodations into "extra bedrooms" for visiting family and friends. By offering special, stress-free rates, we can make hosting easier, which ultimately leads to more cherished memories, more laughter, and more time together in Ohio. The number one reason people visit Ohio is to spend time with family and friends—and many choose to stay in hotels!

Your Crucial Role: Spreading the Word

Tourism Ohio is looking for your help to make this a statewide success. If you're not a lodging property, please consider sharing this message with your local lodging partners and encourage them to sign up. Your outreach is vital to ensuring properties in your community capitalize on this free statewide marketing opportunity.

More bookings mean higher occupancy, more local spending, and increased bed tax revenue for your community. Together, we'll make hosting easier and holidays happier!

Key Program Details & Participation

There is no cost to CVBs or participating properties to join. TourismOhio will handle the heavy lifting:

• Building and hosting the "Be the Host with Most (Rooms)" landing page on Ohio.org, listing participating properties and their offers.
• Managing all paid advertising (social, display, retargeting, search) and owned/earned media (press releases, consumer newsletters).
• Providing creative assets for partners to amplify.

The only "cost" to lodging partners is the discount they choose to offer on their rooms.

Eligible Guests: Ohio residents and their visiting friends/family.
