The Collaborative: A new initiative by the Southern Ohio Synod created just for your congregation!
God is calling your congregation to new life. How are you going to respond?
'Bridges Out of Poverty' workshop on Sept 16 at Advent Lutheran Church
The hidden rules of class effect many aspects of life for all of us but especially for those who live at or below the poverty line. If you want to work with people in poverty or if you simply want a deeper understanding of the issues of poverty this information is eye opening.
Reminder! New Stewardship Development Opportunity Available to SOS Congregations
The Southern Ohio Synod is delighted to make available a new resource for congregations who would appreciate the support of professional fundraising services as they develop their stewardship ministries over the next two years.
Stewardship Mission Moment
We currently have 27 congregations in the call process. All of this work is handled by Pr. Jeff Wick, Assistant to the Bishop, and Gabrielle Hudecek. We continue to see an increase in the numbers in the call process because of rostered minister retirements.

Youth Summit 2018:
Our Synod has room for one more High School student and the adult spot is still available if you have an interest. Click Here for more information. The summit brings young people together to learn about the wider church. It is an all expense paid trip and normally takes place the first Thursday-Sunday in November. This years event will be in Nebraska. Contact Gary if you have an interest.
If you wish to receive all of Gary's monthly information, please contact Gary Pecuch at gpecuch@southernohiosynod.org to be added to his distribution list.
