A Letter from MAC President Dr. Robert Markle

Check Out Dr. Markle's Thoughts on the 10th MAC Strategic Planning Session

Dear Colleagues:

It is my great honor to address you in the MAC eJournal for the first time as President of this amazing organization, and to tell you about an event that will chart my course for the next two years as MAC President.

Tenth MAC Strategic Planning Session

In February, the MAC Executive Committee, Board of Directors, committee leadership and members, staff, outside consultants, and other interested parties gathered in Lansing to lay the course of our association for the next two years. The MAC’s Strategic Planning Session brought together a tremendous combination of talent, dedication, and experience to set the goals of our organization during my two-year presidency, which began January 1st and runs through December 31, 2024.

After inspirational presentations from MAC Chairwoman of the Board Dr. Lisa Olszewski – our immediate past president – and Board of Directors member (and immediate past Chairman of the Board) Dr. Eric DiMartino, we separated into groups to create our goals in the following areas:

  • MAC “Super Committee” (Government Relations, Insurance Relations, Legal Affairs)
  • Public Relations
  • Programs
  • Membership

“Super Committee” Goals

Strategic Plan 2023-2024 - Super Committee

Strategic Plan 2023-2024 - Other Committees

As you can see, our association has charted an aggressive agenda for the next two years. Be sure to watch your emails and other MAC communication channels for more information on how you can help when the time is right. Together, we can move some of these goals from an abstract idea to a reality and dramatically enhance chiropractic care for patients across Michigan.

In Chiropractic,

Robert Markle, DC

President

Michigan Association of Chiropractors
