Morningside Housing Revitalization Strategy
Michigan State University

The Morningside Housing Revitalization Initiative, a collaborative effort between Michigan State University, United Streets Networking and Planning-Building a Community (U-SNAPBAC), Habitat for Humanity, and the Morningside Community Organization, addresses critical housing challenges in Detroit's Morningside neighborhood. This innovative project seeks to prioritize housing needs, allocate resources strategically, and enhance community vitality through targeted interventions. Jurors said: "the Housing Priority Evaluation Tool is an innovative and transferable tool that could be applied in other communities."
