Saugatuck Township is seeking proposals from a qualified individual, firm, or team with demonstrated expertise in coastal resiliency, coastal processes, shoreline management, coastal engineering, and/or coastal planning to assist the Township in developing a Coastal Resiliency Chapter for the Township's Comprehensive Plan. The selected consultant will serve as the Township's technical expert on coastal resiliency and will work closely with the Township, Township staff, and the third-party planning consultant retained to prepare the broader Comprehensive Plan. The Coastal Resiliency Chapter will establish a clear understanding of the Township's coastal systems, identify key coastal risks and opportunities, and develop goals, policies, strategies, and implementation recommendations that can be incorporated into the Comprehensive Plan and used to guide future land use, development, infrastructure, conservation, public access, and other community decisions. The Township is undertaking this work grant support from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) through the Michigan Coastal Management Program (MCMP).
The budget is $25,000

Saugatuck Township is seeking proposals from qualified planning consultants or consultant teams to lead the development of a Township-specific Comprehensive Plan, pursuant to the Michigan Planning Enabling Act. The plan will guide future growth, land use, housing, transportation, non-motorized pathway development, economic development, recreation and tourism, long-term management of coastal resources along Lake Michigan and Kalamazoo River, sustainability and resiliency, and capital investments. The selected consultant will be responsible for designing and leading an inclusive, multi-channel public engagement process, and will need to be able to collaborate and coordinate with a third-party, technical expert consultant, contracted separately by the Township to incorporate a separate "Coastal Resiliency" chapter The Township is undertaking this work with grant support from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) through the Michigan Coastal Management Program (MCMP).
The budget is $60,000 to $85,000.

The City of Mount Clemens is soliciting proposals from qualified planning consulting firms or multidisciplinary consultant teams to prepare a new Citywide Master Plan pursuant to the Michigan Planning Enabling Act (Public Act 33 of 2008, as amended), incorporating economic development, downtown revitalization, community resilience, and implementation components. This project may be funded in whole or in part through the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program. The selected Consultant will be required to comply with applicable funding requirements incorporated into the final contract.
The budget is $175,000.

The City of Dexter and the Washtenaw Area Transportation Study (WATS) are jointly soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide a Traffic Safety and Efficiency Study on Dan Hoey Rd. from Dexter-Ann Arbor Rd. to Baker Rd. in the City of Dexter, Michigan. The purpose of the Study is to measure, understand, and evaluate traffic flow along the corridor, including traffic to and from the Dexter Community Schools campus, and to recommend solutions for geometric and design alternatives.
WATS will accept proposals until November 9th, 2026.

Fenton Township requests the submission of proposals from land use planning consulting firms to prepare a comprehensive update of the Community Master Plan, as defined in and for the purposes of the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, MCL 125.3801 et seq.
Firms should have demonstrated ability in land use plan creation. The firm selected must demonstrate a capacity to work closely with project partners, key stakeholders, Township staff, various Township Boards and Commissions, and the public in the course of preparing the Plan. The Township will accept proposals until 11:30 a.m. ET on October 15, 2026.

The City of Harbor Springs, Michigan, invites Statements of Qualifications from highly qualified planning firms interested in serving as the City's full-service, long-term municipal planning partner. Harbor Springs is a historic waterfront resort community on Little Traverse Bay with approximately 1,200 year-round residents and a significantly larger seasonal population.
The City is seeking a trusted planning advisor to serve as an extension of City staff and help guide thoughtful growth while preserving the community's distinctive character, natural beauty, historic resources, and quality of life. The City particularly seeks firms with proven experience serving resort, waterfront, historic, and highly engaged communities, including communities experiencing significant seasonal population changes.
The City will use a Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS) process. Qualifications will be evaluated independently of cost.
Firms must submit two separate sealed envelopes: one containing qualification and one containing pricing. Pricing will remain sealed and will be reviewed only after the highest-ranked firm has been selected for contract negotiations. A one to two-page “Planning for Place: Preserving Harbor Springs While Preparing for the Future” essay is required as part of the qualification’s submission.
