The Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Association (OPPA) was founded in 1950 as the third district branch of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), whose more than 1,000 physician members specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illnesses, including substance use disorders.
Membership
The Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Association is the professional association in the state of Ohio that focuses exclusively on the needs of physicians who specialize in psychiatry.
Advocacy
A major strategic goal of the Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Association is to advocate on behalf of our patients and our profession.
Education

Foundation
The Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Foundation (OPPF) is a non-profit charitable foundation working with psychiatrists and other medical and mental health professionals to ensure the highest quality psychiatric care for Ohioans now and in the future.
