Reminder: OPPA offers affiliate membership to SUSP members
Members of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the Society of Uniformed Services Psychiatry (SUSP) district branch can now become Affiliate SUSP members of OPPA. Previously, APA members had to choose between membership in OPPA or SUSP—now you can enjoy both!
Eligibility
- Members of APA and SUSP are eligible to become members of OPPA’s SUSP Affiliate Membership.
Benefits
As an affiliate member, you will receive:
- OPPA's quarterly newsletter, Insight Matters, and periodic electronic updates in e-Insight.
- Notifications about educational opportunities that are free for both members and non-members of OPPA.
- The chance to submit a poster abstract for consideration at OPPA’s Annual Psychiatric Update.
- Access to OPPA listservs (coming soon).
- The opportunity to serve on OPPA Committees as a non-voting member.
- The same registration rates for educational activities as OPPA members.
Limitations
Affiliate members may not:
- Serve as voting members of the organization.
- Hold leadership positions within OPPA or its Chapters.
Membership Dues
- Annual dues are $35.
