APA Posts Changes to CPT Coding for Psychiatrists
The APA website now has specific information about the major CPT coding changes that go into effect on January 1, 2013 available to members.
You can access this information, which currently includes a list of the new codes, a crosswalk of 2012 CPT codes to their replacement 2013 CPT codes, and a webinar about the codes' changes via APA's website at www.psychiatry.org/cptcodingchanges.
The OPPA will be offering a five hour CPT coding workshop in various locations throughout Ohio beginning in early Nov. The first workshop is scheduled for Sat., Nov. 10 (this will be the only weekend course offered) and registration is open now. Space is limited, so register today!
