Position Description:

Lake County Board of DD/Deepwood seeking applicants for position of Provider Resource Coordinator who will be responsible for consulting with our HCBS Waiver and ICF Service Provider Partners as assigned in the areas of training, operations and culture. Will assist providers to meet their training needs as well as address staff recruitment and retention, and overall operations in order to promote quality services.


Duties:

  • Provide consultation services to waiver and ICF providers as assigned, in the areas of training, operations and culture to in order to assist providers with training needs, recruitment and retention
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of HCBS waiver, licensed facility and ICF rules and regulations that effect provider operations and training.
  • Serve as a contact for all waiver and ICF provider inquiries regarding training and operations
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for all providers and DSPs as well as maintain a comprehensive understanding of training requirements for waiver and ICF providers, assist with locating and accessing needed training, and assess and identify training needs for DSPs as it pertains to overall processes, best practices in person-centered planning and service delivery and rule requirements


Requirements & Preferences:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work or related field.
  • Professional experience working in HCBS Waiver and/or ICF settings, including knowledge and implementation of applicable rules.
  • Practical work experience providing training and developing training programs and content.
  • Possess a valid State of Ohio Driver License; driving record must meet standards set forth in Board Policy.


Compensation:

Salary starting at $52,456.00
