Position Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to join our team in the Columbus area, serving residents at our Intermediate Care Facility (ICF).

Duties:

The primary responsibility of the QIDP role is to develop and implement individualized program plans (IPPs) for residents, ensuring that all related documentation is completed accurately and that services are provided consistently in a client-centered manner.

The QIDP acts as an advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring their rights are communicated and upheld regularly.

Additionally, this position is responsible for facilitating staff training on new and existing programs, including behavior support strategies, to support the implementation of individualized care.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, mental health or another related field human services field.
  • One year experience in developmental disability services, non-profit community-based organization, or related field.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Offices Software.
  • Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must complete 40 hours of in-service training on an annual basis.


Compensation:

49,504 - 55,000 / Exempt FT
