For 66 years, United Rehabilitation Services (URS) has provided a comprehensive continuum of services to meet the needs of children, adults, and seniors with developmental and acquired disabilities throughout the Greater Dayton Region. URS has the region’s only fully inclusive Early Childhood Education Center serving typically developing children and those with special needs. On-site nurses and therapies are available to support the children and adults we serve throughout the day. Position Description:
The Employment Services Manager is the senior position of the Agency that oversees and coordinates all community-based Employment Services of URS including the intake, outcome, discharge, and IVP/ISP process for the department. Markets the community employment program to employers; develops job sites in partnership with employers to ensure long-term employment success of clients; maintains positive relationships with referral sources and community partners to enhance and expand community employment services and provides or coordinates on-the-job supports. The Manager works as part of the organizations Leadership team to accomplish organizational goals and tasks and provides direct supervision and guidance to the Employment Services Coordinator, Job Developers, Lead Job Coaches and Job Coaches at URS.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Rehabilitation or a closely related field, with 3-5 years’ experience in Vocational Rehabilitation and Supervision or Management experience is required. Outstanding oral, written, electronic and interpersonal communication skills, and strong leadership skills are a must. Must maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license and follow Agency insurance carrier requirements. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the Greater Dayton area is a must!
Compensation:
$54,000 - $74,000 yearly
