We will be spending the next few months in a synod-wide devotional practice to help us prepare for the 2019 Synod Assembly to be held at Wittenberg University on June 7-8, 2019. At this Synod Assembly, we will be electing a bishop for the Southern Ohio Synod. Our voting members, our congregation members, our nominees have the important task of discerning how God is calling us to be stronger and better together. The devotions are meant to be used in a variety of settings - personal devotions, Bible studies, adult forums, prayer groups, devotions before meetings, and so on. The questions provided are starters for conversation; please follow where the Spirit guides! Click HERE to read and download the devotions. It's not too late to start the devotions!
