Six more Norcan employees will soon be taking the test
FPDA spoke with Scott Brown, General Sales Manager at Norcan, to learn why the M+CSP was important to the company. Scott reported that Norcan was prompted to use the M+CSP testing to measure the knowledge level of their sales staff. “Understanding that industry knowledge is an extremely important part of what we offer, we want to continue to raise our standards.”
Upon learning that its employees passed the exam, Norcan framed the certification certificates they were awarded and presented them to the employees. There are still a few more candidates who will take the test and upon completion, a notice will be sent internally to recognize the achievements of the newly-designated Motion & Control Sales Professionals.
Scott explained, “I think the benefit to our people was that they know we care and want to see them improve professionally, as well as their technical skills, and are willing to help them get there. Companies always benefit by investing in their staff.” In speaking with Scott, it is clear that Norcan invests considerable time and effort in continual training for their employees.
