Remembering Russ Henke, P.E.

Russell W Henke, P. E., a true driving force in establishing theFluid Power Institute at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), died November 2, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born April 28, 1924, Henke graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, he joined the U.S. Navy at age 19, trained for flight school, and served in the Pacific on an aircraft carrier during World War II.
