Dorothy Jean Gasper, 88, of Westport, passed away at 5:06 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis with her family by her side. She was born on September 21, 1936, in Carthage, Indiana the daughter of Charles Bernard and Helen Louise (Maddix) Caldwell.

Dorothy is the mother of Mike Gasper; Funeral Director and Owner of Bass and Gasper Funeral Home in Westport, IN. Dorothy was a 20 year employee at the funeral home.
