Learning Objectives


Objective 1 Participants will learn about Hospice program services, benefits, and funding.

Objective 2 Participants will gain the knowledge and skill to comfortably discuss end of life care planning with patients as well as the timeliness and appropriateness of starting the conversation and services.

Objective 3 Participants will gain an understanding of the complex emotional, psychosocial, and cultural issues faced by patients and families at the end of life and be able to describe the impact hospice services have on quality of life for patients and their families.
