Chief Financial Officer

ERS (formerly Episcopal Retirement Services), a not-for-profit senior living organization based in Cincinnati Ohio, is seeking an innovative, collaborative Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who is strategic, mission-driven and willing to make a long-term commitment to the organization.  The ideal candidate will have exceptional business and financial acumen and strong experience in operations finance preferably as senior financial executive in a highly complex and successful multi-site senior living healthcare organization.

ERS owns, manages and is developing 30 senior living communities including: ERS premier communities, Deupree House and Marjorie P. Lee in Hyde Park, OH and Episcopal Church Home in Louisville, KY offer independent living, assisted living or personal care, skilled nursing and memory support; and, 27 affordable living communities for independent seniors with limited incomes.  As Cincinnati's premier provider of senior living and affordable housing, ERS is dedicated to improving the lives of older adults through innovative, quality living environments and in-home and community-based services. ERS has a long history of innovation and success in its ministry to the elderly and is often out in front of trends and changes in the senior living industry. 

The CFO reports to ERS Chief Executive Officer, Laura Lamb and provides leadership and administration of financial activities.  The new CFO will be an accessible and collaborative leader who possesses strong detail and customer service orientation.  The CFO will partner closely with the Board, audit committee, ERS's investment advisors, legal counsel and audit firms and will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate with a broad array of audiences effectively.  Experience with tax credit financing is a plus.  The CFO will have a deep respect for the Episcopal roots of ERS; have a passion for the ERS mission and a proactive, collaborative leadership style, along with a commitment to leadership development; and, will be a strong advocate for residents.  An MBA or CPA is required.
