RFI on Rural and Underserved Community Health: Comments needed
Last week’s House Ways & Means Committee solicited input for the recently-formed Rural and Underserved Communities Health Task Force. The Task Force, with Ohio’s Congressman Brad Wenstrup serving as one of its co-chairs, issued a Request for Information for comments on ten questions that probe health outcomes and policy changes needed in rural and underserved communities. Comments are due to the Committee by Friday, November 29.
LeadingAge will compile comments to the RFI to submit on November 27. Members are encouraged to participate in one or more of the following ways:
- Submit comments directly to the committee;
- Share your thoughts with LeadingAge by November 25 by emailing them to Mollie Gurian at mgurian@leadingage.org.
LeadingAge will incorporate them into its feedback whenever possible. If submitting comments directly to the committee on behalf of your organization, please share with LeadingAge, as well.
LeadingAge encouraged members to note that question #8 focuses on post-acute and long-term services and supports in particular. However, a number of other questions consider areas on which LeadingAge Ohio members may have insights/input.
