‘Aging 101’ Presentation Gives Members a Valuable Tool

Ohio is home to the sixth-largest population of older adults in the country. As services and supports adapt to these rising population numbers, LeadingAge Ohio has prepared a customizable tool for members that they can use when discussing aging within their communities and while educating community groups, public officials, students, and others on aging issues in Ohio and across the country.

Aging 101 was developed to provide an overview of aging, services and supports in Ohio. It outlines the current and future state of aging in Ohio; provides information regarding long-term care, post-acute care and additional supports and payment models; and discusses varying careers and workforce solutions within the field. The information is provided in both a powerpoint presentation and a white paper format.

Both the Aging 101 Brochure and the Aging 101 PowerPoint Presentation are offered as a member-protected resource on the Aging 101 homepage. The brochure and the presentation can be updated to include your organization's logo.

For questions about Aging 101 and adding your organization’s logo to the presentation, please contact Patrick Schwartz, Director of Strategic Communications, at pschwartz@leadingageohio.org
