Hospice of Cincinnati’s HOCtoberfest Supports Grief Counseling and Therapy Programs
Hospice of Cincinnati brought the community together Sept. 18 for HOCtoberfest, an Oktoberfest themed fundraiser at Little Miami Brewing Company in Milford.
The event set a goal of raising $15,000 to support programs that extend beyond traditional hospice care, including grief counseling, specialized support for veterans, and music, art and animal assisted therapy.
Community events like HOCtoberfest help raise awareness of the full range of support hospice organizations provide to patients and families while also generating resources for programs that may not be fully covered through traditional reimbursement.
