2027 OFDA Midwinter Conference

OFDA is heading to Hawaii in 2027! We are excited to have you join us for the 2027 Midwinter Conference in Kona, HI. The trip spans from January 28, 2027, though February 3, 2027, with a Pre-Trip to Honolulu with Pearl Harbor Tour, January 26-Janaury 28, 2027. OFDA is pleased to introduce our new travel agents partner, Roy's Stow Travel!
To book your trip, please fill out the details below. A 50% deposit is due at time of booking. Final payments will be due October 16, 2026. FOR CREDIT CARD PAYMENT(S), A 3% CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE FEE WILL BE CHARGED ON YOUR BALANCE BILL OR IF PAYING IN FULL NOW, A BALANCE BILL WILL BE CREATED FOR THE CREDT CARD SURCHARGE.
 
Cancellations will be accepted up to the the final payment date, October 16, 2026. If credit card payment was used for initial booking, a 3% cancellation fee will be imposed.

PRE-TRIP OPTIONAL EXTENSION - January 26-28, 2027, OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach with Pearl Harbor and National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Rates below include lodging, airfare from Honolulu to Kona and ground transfers, breakfast at hotel, and Pear Harbor tours. Rates below are based on single or double occupancy in a room. The OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach does NOT charge additional for children under age 18. Fees for additional adult travelers will be assessed and included on the final balance billing. This fee is $725 per traveler for hotel charge for additional guests beyond double occupancy ($125 per night), and also includes hotel breakfast vouchers, tour fees, ground transfers, and airline ticket from Honolulu to Kona.

Multiple room options are noted below for the OUTRIGGER Kona Resort & Spa and rates include daily breakfast and gratuity, porterage, daily maid gratuity, ground transportation to/from resort, Welcome Reception and Farewell Dinner and SUNSET CATAMARAN CRUISE on January 31st! The OUTRIGGER Kona does NOT charge additional fees for children under the age of 18 in rooms and they receive complimentary breakfast.Fees for additional travelers, including children, will be included on the final balance billing. This will include a charge of $450 for receptions, sunset cruise and ground transfers:

***Please note that if you book flights through Roy's Stow Travel, the actual price of the flight plus $50 booking fee will be charged to your final invoice. The noted $1,000 per flight is only an ESTIMATE. Group air travel will be booked through United Airlines from home airport to Honolulu for pre-trip (a block of tickets has already been secured at a rate of $750 from Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus) or Kona if traveling directly to our Midwinter location. If attending the pre-trip option, air travel will be booked through Southwest Airlines from Honolulu to Kona. If you prefer to use your own credit card for points purposes for either flight, OFDA will connect you with Roy's Stow Travel to pay direct through the airline. While Roy's Stow Travel will pay close attention to the bookings and corresponding air travel seat selections, there is no guarantee that travelers will have adjacent seats.

OFDA OPTIONAL EXCURSION (February 1 - Day of Leisure) - Reef Snorkel Adventure
An approximate 4-hour journey with Captain Cook. The Reef Snorkel Adventure includes 2.5 hours spent exploring the underwater worlds in Keauhou Bay. Excursion through Sea Paradise (www.seaparadise.com). This rate includes taxes, tips, and transportation.
 
OFDA EXCURSION (February 1 - Day of Leisure) - Whale Watching
Every winter, humpback whales travel over 3,000 miles to Hawaii's warm waters! We will be in peak whale season! The trip will be 2.5 hours beginning in late afternoon. Maximum of 24 guests on the boat with room to move freely. Tour provided by Kohala Divers (www.kohaladivers.com)This rate includes taxes, tips and transportation.
 
OFDA EXCURSION (date TBD) - Manta Ray NIGHT Snorkel
Have a unique Big Island experience snorkeling with manta rays on this 2.5-hour tour. Take a short cruise out to the snorkeling site before dipping into the water to watch the manta rays up close. All necessary equipment will be provided for your excursion, as well as light refreshments and snacks. Tour provided through Viatour (www.viatour.com). This rate includes taxes, tips and transportation.
