It is important to understand various religious perspectives on death and to be appropriate to the cultural context of the families being served.  Rev. Lindsay will discuss social identity theory that includes: patterns organize our reality; application to religious traditions and how we can function differently.  She will include Judaism, Christianity and Islam: similarities and differences; Heresies of Difference and Miroslav Volf’s theory of double vision.
