Cardaras Funeral Homes is seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Funeral Service Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a meaningful career in funeral service while serving families in one of Ohio’s most scenic and welcoming regions.

Position Overview
The Funeral Service Apprentice will work directly with licensed funeral directors to learn all aspects of funeral service, including:
- Assisting with arrangements and services
- Supporting families with care and professionalism
- Preparation and care of the deceased
- Coordinating visitations, funerals, and memorial services
- General operations of the funeral home
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with care
- Willingness to learn and grow within the profession
- Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in an accredited mortuary science program (preferred)
