2024 License Renewal Period Closed - Renew Expired Licenses Today!

All licenses which expired 12-31-2024 and have not yet been renewed are now in Inactive Lapsed status. Lapsed licenses incur a $50 per month late fee per license until June 30. As of July 1, 2025, Lapsed Funeral Director and Embalmer licenses will also require you to take the Ohio Laws and Rules (LRR) exam in order to reinstate. | It is the responsibility of the licensee to maintain your continuing education certificates for a period of 4 years. The Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors does not maintain continuing education certificates for licensees. You may obtain copies of lost certificates directly from the Providers or Associations.
