Assured Protection Inc. Notice of Receivership

Notice Provided by Request of Court Appointed Receiver, Nikki Mesnard, Esq.

Assured Protection, Inc., also operating as Assured Protection Funeral Expense Trust, Inc., or Assured Protection Qualified Funeral Trust (all, “API”), is under receivership under case number 24CV00496 pending in the Licking County Court of Common Pleas. Nikki Mesnard, Esq., is the Court appointed Receiver and may be contacted at:

API is a company that sells preneed funeral contracts through funeral homes and manages preneed funeral contract funds. If you are an individual who purchased a preneed funeral contract with API or if you are a funeral home director who sold an API contract, you must contact the Receiver by certified mail or email to one of the above addresses, no later than end of day February 28, 2025, to establish yourself as a possible claimant. The Receiver will then provide you with the process to establish your claim. 

This is the final notice. Failure to contact the Receiver by February 28, 2025, may result in non-recognition and non-payment on a contract purchased by or sold by you. If you are already in communication with the Receiver, there is no need to respond to this notice
