I find the greatest joy in working as a team with patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey. The highs and lows, the shared human experiences – these are what make Emergency Medicine so rewarding.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to enter the field of Emergency Medicine?
The future of Emergency Medicine is incredibly exciting. From advancements in technology to the countless lives you'll touch, the experiences you'll have will enrich your own life in immeasurable ways.
What are some of the ways in which Ohio ACEP has supported you?
Ohio ACEP has been invaluable in connecting me with fellow practitioners across the state, fostering collaboration and the sharing of knowledge. A prime example is the PAUSE platform, developed in response to the opioid crisis, which I've been involved with for years and which recently received a SAMHSA grant for alternatives to opioids.
