Resident Board Representative & Councillor - 2026 Election Results

In conjunction with Ohio ACEP's Residents' Assembly on August 12, 2026, Ohio ACEP held its annual elections for Resident Representative to the Board of Directors and Resident Councillor.

Resident Representative to the Ohio ACEP Board

Ohio ACEP and the Board of Directors congratulates Dr. Kristen Septaric, (Cleveland Clinic Akron General) on her election to the Ohio ACEP Board as the EM Resident Representative. 

Dr. Septaric will serve a one-year term, which will end at the 2027 Residents' Assembly.

Resident Councillor

Dr. Thomas Gautier (MetroHealth/Cleveland Clinic/Case Western Reserve University) was elected to join the Ohio Council delegation as Resident Councillor. 

Dr. Gautier will represent Ohio's Emergency Medicine residents and physicians at ACEP Council.

Nearly 400 residents, medical students, residency faculty and leaders from Ohio ACEP gathered for the Ohio ACEP joint Residents’ Assembly & Medical Student Symposium on August 12, 2026. The event included a virtual poster competition with entries organized into four categories, our annual Resident election and an exhibit hall with 31 exhibitors.
