Ohio ACEP Attends House of Medicine Meeting
Gathering of medical organizations organized to discuss priority issues and strategy
Representatives from Ohio ACEP—President-Elect Dr. Purva Grover, Executive Director Laura Tiberi, and Chapter Lobbyist Amanda Sines—participated in a House of Medicine meeting on January 27. The meeting was with the Ohio State Medical Association and medical specialty organizations throughout the state.
The gathering was held to discuss the goals of each organization and to collaborate on strategies to achieve them. Ohio ACEP priorities, including House Bill 7—which would make important liability reforms, including strengthening Ohio’s “I’m Sorry” law—and fair coverage reforms, were topics discussed at the meeting.
We look forward to continuing our collaborative work with Ohio’s medical organizations to affect positive change and work toward common goals important to physicians.
