Study Group: Ortho-Bionomy® as Lived Experience
Jessica Mark with Colin Gibbs and Peggy Oud
ONLINE
Dr. Arthur Pauls often said Ortho-Bionomy is caught, not taught. What happens when we catch “IT”? How do we catch IT? When did we catch IT? How does IT change us as people? And how does catching IT change us—not only as practitioners, but as people?
Each of us carries a lived experience shaped by the unfolding of our lives. And each of us carries a lived experience shaped by our relationship with Ortho-Bionomy.
Mark Strong said, “some jobs you do, they're just jobs. Others are life experiences.” Perhaps this is what George Lamming means when he said: “it didn't seem I could know it until I had lived it.”
Could it be that we really cannot know Ortho-Bionomy unless we have lived it? And if so, what does that invite of us?
Three Advanced Ortho-Bionomy Instructors come together for a three-hour conversation, a trialogue, exploring Ortho-Bionomy as lived experience—reflecting on how life experiences may have predisposed them toward this work, and how Ortho-Bionomy has shaped them as their lives unfold.
