Mission
Our Mission
The Mission of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy is to support its membership in their Ortho-Bionomy Practices, to promote public education and awareness of Ortho-Bionomy, to regulate the registration of Practitioners and Instructors and to continue the evolvement of Ortho-Bionomy in accordance with its own philosophy and principles.
To fullfill our mission we strive to:
- Conduct all Society business with awareness of Ortho-Bionomy’s philosophy, in a sustainable and inclusive fashion
- Maintain the integrity of Ortho-Bionomy by ensuring compliance with the Trademark Policy and Code of Ethics
The Society of Ortho-Bionomy International® was founded in December 1984 and is incorporated as a non-profit organization in the state of Indiana. We are also a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization - Business League - with the IRS. Besides providing services to our members and bi-annual conferences, the Society oversees Ortho-Bionomy classes and the training of Practitioners and Instructors. The extensive professional training programs ensure that each of our Registered Practitioners and Instructors has demonstrated the highest level of Ortho-Bionomy skills, professional competence and standards of practice. The Society is almost entirely a volunteer organization and a community of people who love and cherish Ortho-Bionomy.
