The Society of Ortho-Bionomy International was incorporated as a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization in the state of California in 1984, then incorporated in Indiana when the office moved in 2008.

The Society of Ortho-Bionomy International owns the trademarks "Ortho-Bionomy," Sand Dollar Logo, and "Society of Ortho-Bionomy International." A link to the full trademark policy is below. Grievance Policy
All grievances are confidentially reviewed and researched by the Professional Conduct Committee. The committee submits a recommendation to the SOBI Board of Directors, which may or may not contain the involved parties' information.
Members of the Professional Conduct Committee remain anonymous throughout and after the Grievance process has been completed.
