Q. What is this new Leadership Academy that I've been hearing about?

Q. How can a counselor can get added to the list of "Counselors by State" posted on the website?
A. NCDA offers this website listing under "Need a Career Counselor?" as a benefit to those who have achieved one of the special memberships. Specifically, you must be a Master Career Counselor (MCC) or Master Career Development Professional (MCDP) before you can purchase a listing. Q. Can you tell me what NCDA is doing to help with CEU's?
A.. CEU's or Continuing Education Units can be earned in a variety of ways, including conference participation. One of the newest offerings is 4 CEU's to authors of articles published in the NCDA web magazine, Career Convergence. Contact the editor for details.
Q. What is the difference between the web magazine and the newsletter?
A. The web magazine, Career Convergence, is written by career development practitioners for career development practitioners. The articles offer "best practices" and other tips to be used immediately by readers in a variety of work settings (e.g. K-12, Post-Secondary, Government, etc). Unlike a journal, the writing style is informal and friendly. While NCDA members are the editors of Career Convergence, anyone can read or author an article. It is published online on the first of each month and automatically emailed to NCDA members and other subscribers.
The Career Development Newsletter is the quarterly "newspaper" of the association itself. It is only for members. NCDA headquarters publishes the information to keep its members up-to-date on the association's mission and activities(e.g. conferences). It is mailed to members three times a year, emailed to members each fall, and posted on the website under About NCDA.
Q. Is it true that NCDA moved?
