Application for Internet Sites for Career Planning

Application for Inclusion on "Internet Sites for Career Planning" list of Resources for career development practitioners, educators and researchers and their constituents.
In addition to the professional judgment of the volunteer reviewers and the website editor, specific criteria will be used for acceptance. Sites to be included should match the following:
  • Have strong and obvious relevance to career development
  • Follow the mission of NCDA which is “to inspire and empower individuals to achieve their career and life goals” and may not violate the NCDA non-discrimination policy.
  • Be viewable by anyone with Internet access without any major or substantial services requiring payment (in other words, the critical information is free)
  • Contain accurate, factual, unbiased, and current information
  • Be clear and easy to navigate
  • Provide information of use to the client (i.e., the person seeking career planning services)
  • Be professionally prepared and executed (embedded links work, presentation is professional, grammar correct, no typos, extra resources and assistance provided when appropriate).
  • Users may suggest additions if a new site fits the above guidelines. Please submit only the following items (lengthy “sales pitches” about a new site will not be considered.)
