Hi Jenny, I currently work at a Community College in New Jersey, and we have approximately 10,000 students enrolled at our institution. At this time, our Career & Leadership Development department breaks down in the following way: 1 Director (Full Time), 2 Assistant Directors (Full Time), 1 Support Staff (Full Time), 2 Part Time Career Representatives. Although I am not sure what the recommended ratio is for Community Colleges as a whole, I would imagine that the ratio would be related to enrollment of the institution. I would love to have at least 1 more full time member of my staff, as I believe we would be able to provide expanded services to students and local employers. I hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out to me to further discuss!

Thank you again,
Sarah McElroy

Sarah,

Thank you for your response. We have two full-time employees for 6400 students so this helps with bench marking for requesting more staff.
