Nominations for NCDA Board extended to March 15th

Are you considering ways to get involved in NCDA? Are you ready to step into a leadership role? Would you like to speak with other leaders about opportunities to serve on the NCDA Board of Trustees?

The 2022 NCDA Nominations and Elections Committee seeks applications for the following board positions:

  • President-Elect-Elect: 4-year commitment October 1, 2022 – September 30, 2026
  • Trustee, Representing members from Agencies, Business/Industry/Private Practice: 3-year commitment October 1, 2022 – September 30, 2025
  • Trustee-At-Large, Responsible for oversight of the Leadership Academy Global Connections Interests of the Association*
      3-year commitment October 1, 2022 – September 30, 2025
  • Treasurer 3-year term October 1, 2022 – September 30, 2025
  • ACA Governing Rep, Representing NCDA on the ACA Governing Council: 3-year term July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2026 (this position follows ACA’s fiscal year which is different than NCDA’s).

The qualifications and application details are listed here: Nominations Elections Information 2022. Members are encouraged to self-nominate or recommend an interested NCDA colleague to the committee. The deadline for submission is December 20, 2021 has been extended to March 15, 2022.

The Nominations and Elections Committee will recommend their final slate of potential officers to the NCDA Board. Those approved to be on the slate will be forwarded for presentation (and voting to narrow the slate, if necessary) at the Annual Membership Meeting during the 2022 NCDA Global Conference. The final two candidates per position will be approved during that meeting and will move on to the general elections (June 30-Aug 15, 2022). The final vote will be announced by August 30, 2021. The term for these positions will start on October 1, 2022.

Interested applicants should complete the 2022 Nominations Application Form and send to Seth Hayden, Past President, at haydensc@wfu.edu by March 15, 2022.
