Ohio Career Development Association-Spring 2012 Conference
The Ohio Career Development Association held its annual Spring Conference on Friday, May 18,2012 at Baldwin Wallace College, in Berea, Ohio for over 85 participants. The speaker was Carol Vecchio, who is a Career Counselor and theExecutive Director and Founder of the Centerpoint Institute for Life and Career Renewal in Seattle, WA. She gave a presentation on the topic of Navigating Uncertainty in Life and Work, where she provided those in attendancewith a practical model to help navigate and normalize change in every aspect of life and work.
Attendees of the conference were able to network with other professionals in the field, and commented on how engaging Carol was and how they felt that this model could really assist them in working with and energizing their clients.
At the conference, OCDA’s annual awards are given out. The recipients this year were:
