Ohio Ag Equipment is a division of Ohio CAT, the exclusive, authorized dealer for Caterpillar equipment and engines throughout Ohio, northern Kentucky, and southeastern Indiana. Ohio Ag Equipment sells and supports high production Ag equipment including Challenger agricultural tractors, LEXION combines, AGCO Application Equipment, and much more. The division's operations are conducted out of the Upper Sandusky, Washington Court House, Napoleon, and Millersburg locations, and divisional sales are expected to exceed $100 million.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Troubleshoot and repair general agricultural equipment drive-train components, electrical and hydraulic systems as well as perform normal machine repair in a safe manner.
The Field Service Technician performs repairs, set-up, maintenance, etc. out of a company service vehicle, in the natural elements.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-Three plus years Agriculture equipment and machinery service/repair experience required.
-Possess superior diagnosis and mechanical skills and abilities.
-Desire and ability to present strong customer service skills Ability to complete service and all necessary documentation and follow-up as required in a timely, orderly manner.
-Must own and be able to safely use personal mechanic’s tools.
-“Safely Home, Everyone, Everyday” Ability to effectively use computers High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
-Valid and clean (Less than 4 points) Commercial Driver’s License.
