Target: Scholarships

Each fall the Target: Scholarships committee plans an event at the Cardinal Center in Marengo, Ohio to raise funds for the Ohio AgriBusiness Association Education Trust scholarship program. In addition to a day of sporting clays, OABA members have the opportunity to network with their colleagues, while they continue to support aspiring agribusiness professionals. The 2025 Target: Scholarships event will be held September 12 at the Cardinal Center in Marengo.

The Educational Trust annually provides more than $45,000 in scholarship dollars to students enrolled in an agriculture-related field attending The Ohio State University and OSU Agricultural Technical Institute, Clark State Community College, Central State University and Wilmington College.

Registration is available for teams of 4 or individuals. Participants will shoot 100 target rounds.  Ammunition (12 gauge and 20 gauge) will be provided for each individual, as well as a golf cart for each team. Please indicate on your registration what gauge ammunition you will be using. Participants are responsible for supplying their own gun, a limited supply may be available to rent through the Cardinal Center.

The Target: Scholarships event provides OABA’s membership the opportunity to be recognized as a sponsor, while also raising money for aspiring professionals as they obtain a college education in an agriculture-related field. Sponsorship opportunities are available each year.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received no later than 14 days prior to the event to be eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be issued after that date. No shows will be invoiced.
